a little about me

Welcome Friend! I am so glad you are here! My name is Katie, and I have fallen in love with this little thing called photography. There is nothing better than getting to meet new friends and capture beautiful moments for them to treasure forever.

Here are a few little fun facts about me:

• I love Jesus with all of my heart!

• I am a momma to two beautiful (growing up too fast) girls.

• I am a high school visual art and photography teacher.

• I lived in East Asia for the first seven years of my marriage. (the travel bug lives on!!)

• I love people, books, exercise, being outdoors, and of course telling stories through photography!

Someone once asked me why I do photography, and my response was because every time I shoot, I learn something new. I love this job, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
